This is a simple but handy recipe for freezer meatballs. Meatballs, in and of themselves, are very simple but they can be used in so many different ways. Now and then I like to make a large batch of meatballs so I can use them to make several different meals or appetizers.

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 - eggs

  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make basic freezer meatballs

  • Step 1
In a large bowl, combine ground beef with eggs and bread crumbs.

Add in the onion and spices. Use your hands to mix well.
  • Step 3
Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  • Step 4
Place meatballs in a single layer on a baking sheet or in a 9 x 13 pan.
  • Step 5
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain grease and cool on paper towels.
  • Step 6
Store meatballs in a freezer bag or container in the freezer.
  • Step 7
Note: Sometimes I like to use ground sausage for half of the ground beef.
