barbecued hamburger patties

Just found this recipe on here a couple of days ago...it said claim it, so I did.Made this for dinner last night and my 7 yr old loved it! He loves anything with BBQ sauce,especialy hamburgers!Hope you like it too...

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- NOTE: - you can aslo use your favorite bottled bbq sauce instead of making this one.
How To Make barbecued hamburger patties

Step 1Mix the meat, onion and salt together.

Step 2Shape the mixture into 6 patties, each about 3/4-inch thick.

Step 3Brown the patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning once.

Step 4Cover and cook over low heat about 10 minutes.

Step 5Drain off the excess fat.

Step 6Mix ketchup, chili sauce, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar.

Step 7Pour sauce over the patties.

Step 8Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, spooning the sauce onto the patties occasionally.

Step 9Serve with the sauce spooned over the patties,or with mashed potatoes.
