beef chuck, boneless
3/4 c
1 Tbsp
dijon mustard
2 Tbsp
brown sugar
clove garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
1/4 tsp
liquid smoke flavoring
1/4 tsp
1/8 tsp
french rolls, split

How to Make Barbecued Beef Sandwiches


  • 1Place beef in slow-cooker.
  • 2Combine remaining ingredients, except rolls.
  • 3Pour over meat.
  • 4Cover and cook on low 8-9 hours.
  • 5Refrigerate or prepare sandwiches now.
  • 6Shred beef by pulling it apart with two forks; add 1 cup sauce.
  • 7Reheat in microwave or on stovetop.
  • 8Spoon on warm, open-face rolls.
  • 9Top with additional warm sauce, if desired.
  • 10This may be cooked a day ahead and refrigerated overnight.
  • 11Skim fat off top and reheat.
