Ingredients
- 3 pounds chuck roast
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
How To Make barbecued beef

Step 1Place chuck roast in crockpot.

Step 2Combine remaining ingredients in mixing bowl.

Step 3Pour barbecue sauce mixture over chuck roast.

Step 4Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or 4 to 5 hours on high.

Step 5Remove chuck roast from crockpot and shred meat.

Step 6Place shredded meat back in crockpot.

Step 7Stir meat to evenly coat with sauce.

Step 8Spoon meat onto sandwich buns and top with additional barbecue sauce if desired.
