Ingredients
- 2 pounds hamburger (they said it was 'hamburg')
- 2 1/2 medium white onions, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 5 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1 cup celery, finely chopped

Step 1The spices and flavorings above are approximate; adjust to taste.) Fry onions and hamburger together until meat is browned. Drain the grease. Add other ingredients and simmer about 35 minutes (or longer if desired). Serve on hamburger buns.
