Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    hamburger
  • 1/2
    onion, chopped
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/8 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 can(s)
    tomatoes, canned and chopped, drained
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    sweet relish
  • 1/4 c
    barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    blackberry jam, seedless
  • ·
    buns or bread slices

How to Make Baldwin Sloppy Joe's

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown hamburger with onion.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Add garlic.
    Drain grease.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, sugar, barbecue sauce, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and jam.
    Heat and serve on buns or sliced bread.

    I usually add a little more barbecue sauce.
