Ingredients
- 2 pounds round steak, 1 inch thick
- - flour
- 1 - green bell pepper
- 4 - celery stalks
- 3 large carrots
- 28 ounces tomatoes
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons horseradish
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make baked swiss steak

Step 1Roll meat in flour and brown in fat in skillet.

Step 2Place in a large, deep baking dish.

Step 3Cut onion, pepper, celery and carrots in large pieces and add to the meat.

Step 4Mix remaining ingredients and pour over the meat.

Step 5Bake, covered, for 2 or more hours at 325, until tender.

Step 6Serves 6 to 8.
