A basic lasagna for the whole family to enjoy. May serve with garlic bread and salad if desired.

    ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    salad or olive oil
  • 1 medium
  • 1 clove
  • 1 tsp
    parsley, chopped
  • 2
    6 ounce cans tomato paste
  • 2 c
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 8 oz
    lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 2
  • 3/4 lb
    ricotta cheese or creamed cottage cheese
  • 3/4 lb
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ·
    parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make Baked Lasagna Casserole


  1. Brown ground beef in oil with onion, garlic and parsley.
  2. Add tomato paste, water, salt and pepper and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. Meanwhile, cook and cool noodles as directed on package.
  4. Mix together eggs and ricotta (or cottage cheese).
  5. In a 9 X 13 inch baking dish, spread about 1/2 cup meat sauce, then alternate layers of lasagna noodles, sauce, egg mixture and mozzarella until baking dish is filled.
  6. Top with more sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.
