Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons salad or olive oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon parsley, chopped
- 2 - 6 ounce cans tomato paste
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces lasagna noodles, cooked
- 2 - eggs
- 3/4 pound ricotta cheese or creamed cottage cheese
- 3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, shredded
- - parmesan cheese, grated
How To Make baked lasagna casserole

Step 1Brown ground beef in oil with onion, garlic and parsley.

Step 2Add tomato paste, water, salt and pepper and simmer for 1 hour.

Step 3Meanwhile, cook and cool noodles as directed on package.

Step 4Mix together eggs and ricotta (or cottage cheese).

Step 5In a 9 X 13 inch baking dish, spread about 1/2 cup meat sauce, then alternate layers of lasagna noodles, sauce, egg mixture and mozzarella until baking dish is filled.

Step 6Top with more sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Step 7Bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes.
