Blue Ribbon Recipe
Your kitchen is going to smell so good while these stuffed steaks are cooking. Simply amazing! We couldn't wait to dig in. The steaks have great flavor. If you wanted to amp up the flavor even more, marinate the steaks in your favorite marinade before prepping the recipe. The cheese is ooey gooey good and you get that, along with mushrooms, in every bite. Overall, this is a quick and easy dinner recipe.

Ingredients

- 1/4 pound cheese (your choice)
- 1 package Shiitake mushrooms, 8 oz.
- 6 slices bacon, uncooked
- - toothpicks
How To Make bacon wrapped stuffed steak
-
Step 1Butterfly or pound the steak flat. (I butterflied mine.) Season as desired. Lay 1-2 layers of cheese onto the steak. Pile the mushrooms on top of the cheese.
-
Step 2Fold the steak up like a roast and pin the two sides together with toothpicks.
-
Step 3Wrap 3 slices of bacon around the steak and pin them to the steak with toothpicks.
-
Step 4Set oven to 400 Degrees and bake the steak for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Take all the toothpicks out of the steak and enjoy. (Also pictured: Bacon wrapped asparagus & Grandma Bauer's Famous Cheese Bread with bacon crumbles added)
