bacon cheeseburgers
(1 RATING)
Since the weather here is still in the 80's and 90's, tonight was a good night to grill at my mom's as my brother and I and 4 of the 7 grandkids were there cleaning up her yard. I love the "gourmet" bacon cheeseburgers that I get at the grocery store, but didn't have the time to make a 60 mile round trip to get them for supper tonight. I came up with this recipe today and everyone thought they were better than the ones we usually buy at the store to put on the grill.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds 85% lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons roasted garlic and herb seasoning (weber grill creations)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
- 1 package oscar meyer real bacon pieces
How To Make bacon cheeseburgers
-
Step 1Preheat grill to medium high heat.
-
Step 2In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together well. To get fairly equal size burgers, I divide the mixture into 4 equal size balls, then divide each ball in half and form into patties.
-
Step 3Place burgers on grill and grill each side of burger about 8 minutes or until done.
