Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1
    onion, sliced
  • 1
    bell pepper, julienned
  • 6 slice
    bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 14.5 oz
    pizza sauce
  • 3
    plum tomatoes
  • 4 oz
    cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 slice
    bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Upside-Down Pizza

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In large saucepan, brown ground beef with
    onion and bell pepper; drain.
  3. Stir in 6 slices crumbled bacon and pizza sauce.
  4. Spoon into ungreased 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle evenly with tomatoes; top with cheese slices.
  6. In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly.
  7. Add milk and oil; mix well.
  8. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
  9. Add flour and salt; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  10. Pour evenly over cheese slices.
  11. Sprinkle with 2 slices crumbled bacon.
  12. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until topping is slightly puffed and deep golden brown.
