Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe Meatloaf

Ingredients

2 lbground beef
-
1 mediumyellow onion, diced

2 clovegarlic, minced

1 csaltine crackers, crushed (ritz works well too)

1 tsponion powder
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
1 tspmontreal steak/burger seasoning
-
1-2 pinchblack pepper
-
3 Tbspdill pickle relish or chopped dill pickles

2 Tbspheinz 57 sauce
-
1 Tbspyellow mustard
-
1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
2eggs
-
2-3 Tbspheavy cream or milk
-
1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
-
3-4 slicebacon, chopped & fried crisp

1 1/2 ccatsup
How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Deluxe Meatloaf
- In skillet on stovetop fry bacon pieces until crisp, remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
In a large mixing bowl gently fold together all ingredients except catsup. - Spray medium rectangle baking dish or loaf pan with nonstick spray.
- Squirt or "frost" meatloaf with catsup. I probably use more than 1/4 C as you can see in the photo.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 20 minutes.
About 1/2 way through baking time I try to use a turkey baster to remove the grease that has cooked out of the ground beef dish during the baking process. - For the "Deluxe" I serve this meatloaf with a side salad made with iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato & thin sliced raw onion. It really does taste like a Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger.
