Ingredients

  • BURGER

  • 1 lb
    ground beef (85/15)
  • 1/2 c
    pepper jack cheese, grated
  • 1/4 c
    bbq sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 6
    sesame seed buns, toasted
  • SECRET SAUCE

  • 3/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    sweet relish
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • TOPPINGS

  • 6 slice
    bacon, cooked
  • 6
    lettuce leaves
  • 6 slice
    tomato
  • 1/2 c
    canned potato sticks and canned crispy onions

How to Make Bacon BBQ Hamburger

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine the ground beef, grated cheese, BBQ sauce, and seasonings. Shape patties that are about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Turn grill up to high and let it get hot.
  3. In an Iron skillet fry bacon until crisp and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-high and place the burgers on the grill. Grill about 3 minutes each side.
  5. For the sauce: Combine all ingredients and whisk until well mixed.
  6. Assemble the burgers with the burger, bacon strips halved, lettuce, tomato, sprinkle potato sticks/onion crisps and special sauce.
