I have tried this roast several times using different cuts of beef, my favorite is a sirloin roast. This is a very easy recipe.

4 lb

boneless sirloin roast
3 Tbsp

cooking oil
salt and pepper to taste
garlic salt to taste
1 bottle

coca-cola (i use a small)
1 14 oz

bottle catsup

How To Make bachelor roast

Score roast in several places.

Sprinkle with spices if desired.

Put a slice of onion in each score. Sear well on all sides in oil. Remove and drain.

Place roast in foil lined pan. Pour catsup and coke over and seal foil loosely.

Cook in oven 325 degrees F for 3 hours.
