A family favorite - especially with the nephews. I have to make this whenever they come for an extended stay. I found this one from Food Network and just changed the order I add ingredients while cooking.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 1/4 pounds ground beef - lean
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (i use dark)
- 1 tablespoon steak seasoning blend
- 1 medium onion - chopped
- 1 small bell pepper - chopped
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 package potato buns

Step 1Heat large skillet over medium heat. Add OIL, ONION, BELL PEPPER and MEAT to the pan. Break up the meat and begin to brown.

Step 2Combine BROWN SUGAR and STEAK SEASONING. Add this to pan with the other ingredients.

Step 3Reduce meat to medium and add the RED WINE VINEGAR and WORCESTERSHIRE.

Step 4Add TOMATOE SAUCE and TOMATOE PASTE. Stir to combine.

Step 5Reduce heat to simmer and cook mixture about 5 mintes.

Step 6We will make baked beans and french fries to finish off this meal along with some vegie sticks. Serve on Potatoe Buns.
