I'm not a meatloaf fan, but this is one yummy recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound italian pork sausage
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 2 - large eggs
  • 1/2 cup saltine cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons lipton onion soup mix

How To Make aunt betty's meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350*. Place all but the soup mix together in a bowl.
  • Step 2
    Add 1/2 of the soup mix package and mix well. Form into a loaf shape and place into dutch oven. Sprinkle remaining onion soup mix over the top and add 1/2 cup water.
  • Step 3
    Cook for 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 155* to 160*. Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
  • Step 4
    If using a Crock Pot, follow above directions but place in crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours.
