I'm half Cuban and my Grandmother use to make this for the whole family. Yummy for your tummy. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family has and still do.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 large bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can 8 oz, tomato sauce
  • 1 1/4 cups dry cooking wine
  • - salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 package goya sazon if you can get it.
  • - spanish salad olives, about 3 tablespoons, no pits

How To Make arroz con picadillo

  • Step 1
    In a semi-deep pan, cook meat, onions, peppers, garlic, and olives. Drain fat.
  • Step 2
    add all other ingredients and cook on low for about 25 to 30 minutes. Serve over white rice.
