Ingredients

  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 slices bread, torn in pieces
  • 1 tablespoon onion, dehydrated and minced
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

How To Make anniversary burgers

  • Step 1
    Light a charcoal fire.
  • Step 2
    Mix eggs with cream and milk, then add torn-up bread, onion, salt, horseradish, pepper, thyme and dry mustard.
  • Step 3
    Stir well, let stand for 10 minutes, then stir well again, until all is well moistened and the bread is no longer in pieces.
  • Step 4
    Add ground beef and mix well.
  • Step 5
    Melt butter with ketchup and keep warm.
  • Step 6
    Measure out beef in 1/2 cup increments and form patties.
  • Step 7
    Grill over hot coals on one side.
  • Step 8
    Turn and brush with butter-ketchup mixture.
  • Step 9
    Grill other side.
  • Step 10
    Serve hot.
