Was still going through Mom's recipe box and came across this one. I remember it from the 60's or maybe early 70's. Mom's sister had written it on a card and given it to her.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground round steak
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups plain bread crumbs
- 3/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon accent
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 package dry onion soup mix
- 2 - strips bacon
- 1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
How To Make ann lander's meat loaf

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Thoroughly mix all ingredients (except bacon and tomato sauce) and place in a loaf pan.

Step 3Cover with bacon strips to flavor if you like.

Step 4Pour tomato sauce over all.

Step 5Bake for 1 hour.
