My friend Angelina and her brother made this. It is very yummy!
The potatoes have to be almost paper thin. If they are too thick, they won't cook

Ingredients

5 large
baking potatoes, thinly sliced
1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1/2 oz
onion, minced
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
salt, more if needed
1 c
milk
5 large
eggs

How to Make Angelina's Serbian Moussaka

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350*
  • 2Thinly slice the potatoes and mince the onion.
    Brown the hamburger meat with the salt, pepper and onions.
  • 3Place a layer a potatoes in a 13 x 9 inch pan, and then sprinkle ground beef evenly over the top.
  • 4Repeat layers, ending with beef, until the layers come to 1/4 inch of the top of the pan.
  • 5Whisk the eggs and milk together, and pour over the meat and potatoes. Cover with foil.
  • 6Bake for about an hour, until the potatoes are tender.
