- 3 pounds chuck roast
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup brewed coffee
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 large onion sliced
- 2 - bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons water
How To Make amish pot roast

Step 1Add all ingredients except cornstarch and water in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 9 to 10 hours. Remove the roast and onions from the slow cooker and shred. Discard the bay leaves

Step 2Place the sauce in a sauce pan on stove and bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch with the water and whisk into the sauce to thicken it.

Step 3Serve the roast with the sauce on top
