Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 3 lb
    chuck roast
  • 4 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 c
    brewed coffee
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 large
    onion sliced
  • 2
    bay leaves
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 4 Tbsp

How to Make Amish Pot Roast


  1. Add all ingredients except cornstarch and water in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 9 to 10 hours. Remove the roast and onions from the slow cooker and shred. Discard the bay leaves
  2. Place the sauce in a sauce pan on stove and bring to a boil. Mix the cornstarch with the water and whisk into the sauce to thicken it.
  3. Serve the roast with the sauce on top
