Growing up my Mom would make this a least once a week. Everytime she made it my friends wanted to stay for dinner. Now I make it and my family loves it. I serve it with a tossed salad and garlic bread. It's a quick and easy dinner.

Ingredients
- - enough oilve oil to coat the bottom of a deep skillet
- 1 - green pepper, chopped
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 12 ounces box sliced mushrooms
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 - jar or your own homemade pasta sauce
- 1 pound elbow macaroni, cooked
- - grated parmesan cheese
- - salt
- - pepper

Step 1Cover the bottom of a deep skillet with olive oil. Add peppers, onions, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Saute until tender. Add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Add sauce and simmer for 30 minutes.

Step 2Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain but do not rinse. Mix macaroni with sauce mixture and top with grated cheese.
