My Uncle loves stew his most favorite food in the world is tomatoes.This stew is right up his ally.

Ingredients For ally's beef stew

  • 2 lb
    beef stew meat
  • flour
  • oil
  • 4 c
    tomatoe juice
  • 1 3/4 c
    beef broth
  • 1
    onion,chopped
  • black pepper
  • 1 can
    diced tomatoes
  • 2 c
    sliced carrots
  • 3 c
    cut up potatoes
  • salt to taste

How To Make ally's beef stew

  • 1
    Coat beef with flour.Heat oil in 6 qt.saucepot.Add beef in two batches until browned.Remove beef and pour off fat.

    Stir in juice,broth,,onion and black pepper.Heat to a boil.Add meat and cover.Reduce heat for 1 hour.

    Add carrots,potatoes cover and cook for another hour.Add salt to taste.I like to add a little crystal hot sauce for my uncles taste.
