Nothing personal yet. Another crock pot recipe I found in my Mother's recipes from the 70's.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz. each) beef tamales
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 can (8 oz.) whole-kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup grated sharp process cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced, pitted ripe olives

How To Make alamo tamale supper

  • Step 1
    Slice tamales in half crosswise and arrange in bottom of greased Crock-Pot. Sprinkle chopped onion over tamales. Add corn. Mix tomato sauce and chili powder; pour into Crock-Pot. Top with grated cheese and sprinkle with sliced ripe olives. Cover and cook on Low setting for 5 to 7 hours (on High setting for 2 hours)
