Ingredients
- 1/4 pound lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 4 - carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 - potatoes, sliced into 1/8 inch
- 3 - celery stalks, sliced
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 teaspoons beef bouillon
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup dry red wine
- 2 tablespoons flour
How To Make 20 minute hamburger skillet stew

Step 1Use melon baller and shape meat into tiny meatballs.

Step 2Brown in skillet.

Step 3Discard any fat.

Step 4Stir onion into skillet and cook 1 minute.

Step 5Add boiling water or broth and extract or bouillon.

Step 6Add remaining vegetables and seasonings.

Step 7Cover, cook over low heat, 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Step 8Combine wine or water and flour in covered jar.

Step 9Shake and stir into skillet.

Step 10Cook and stir until sauce is thick, 4 minutes.
