Hadn't eaten Spam in years, but a contest spurs one's imagination and this is what I came up with! Now I have a different, new fresh Summertime fav...

Ingredients

1 package coleslaw
3/4 cup bottled coleslaw dressing
1/4 cup diced onion
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
8 slices spam
4 slices pineapple
4 - buns
1/4 cup terriyaki glaze

How To Make terriyaki spammie

Step 1

Mix 1st four ingredients in bowl and let sit while you are grilling meat.

Step 2

Put spam and pineapple slices on grill. Brush terriyaki glaze on them. Cook until hot and grill marks are on both meat and pineapple.
Step 3

Plate buns and scoop coleslaw on bottom bun. Place 2 slices of spam on coleslaw, then pineapple slice, then top bun. Additional dressing may be spread on bun if desired.
