simple "lumpia" egg rolls

This is the simple recipe for my mom's Lumpia egg rolls. Instead of cutting everything up, I cheat and use the coleslaw mix available at the grocery store. Egg roll wrappers can also be called spring roll wrappers.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 package coleslaw mix
  • 2 packages eggroll wrappers

How To Make simple "lumpia" egg rolls

  • Step 1
    Mix together ground beef and coleslaw mix in bowl.
  • Step 2
    about 1 tbsp of mix to a wrapper. Roll up the egg-rolls like a burrito. Seal with water.
  • Step 3
    Fry in oil until golden brown on all sides. Don't crowd the fraying pan.
  • Step 4
    good with sweet-n-sour sauce or our homemade vinegar egg-roll sauce
