Pork Dumplings

Ingredients

DIPPING SAUCE

1/2 csoy sauce

1 Tbsprice vinegar
-
2 Tbspchopped green onion
-
1 Tbspsesame seeds
-
2clove garlic finely minced
-
PORK DUMPLING FILLING
-
1 lbground pork
-
3clove garlic finely minced
-
1egg beaten
-
2 Tbspchopped green onion
-
2 Tbspsoy sauce
-
1 1/2 Tbspminced fresh ginger
-
1 1/2 Tbspsesame oil
-
1/2bag (8-10 oz coleslaw mix
-
1 pkground gyoza wrappers or won ton wrappers (round ones)
How to Make Pork Dumplings
- Mix dipping sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside
- In a large bowl, mix the pork filling ingredient except the wrappers. Make sure the filling is well mixed
- Put the pork mixture in the fridge for about 15 min.
- Separate the wrapper 4 at a time so they don't dry out Use Gyoza wrappers or round won ton wrappere in a pinch
- Put about 1 Tbsp of the pork mixture in the center of the wrapper and moist the edges with water and fold over pressing hard to seal
- Fry dumplings in frying pan with about 1-2 Tbsp of vegetable oil on medium heat browning both sides
- After browning add 1/4 cup water and cover and contunue to cook till water is evaporated about 4 minutes.
- Seve on platter and enjoy!!! Make about 40 dumplings
