oriental hot dog stir fry

This is a great way to use any left over spaghetti. I've made many variations. This one is a little on the sweet side because you add honey and the pickled ginger. You could also add broccoli or thinly sliced carrots. I just let my imagination run wild and use whatever I have on hand and whatever I think will taste good together! It's quick, easy and tastes good!

Ingredients For oriental hot dog stir fry

  • left over cooked whole wheat spaghetti
  • three hot dogs sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/4 c
    pickled ginger (thin slices pink in appearance and ususally found with the asian food in the supermarket. make sure it is the sweet, pickled kind)
  • 1 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 1
    medium onion sliced
  • 1 tsp
    sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    peanut butter, creamy
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter (i used i can't believe its not butter)
  • 1 tsp
    honey (i used orange honey)

How To Make oriental hot dog stir fry

    Brown sliced hot dogs in heated sesame oil until brown.

    Melt butter over medium heat, saute onions until transluscent (about 10 minutes)
  • 3
    Add spaghetti to cooked onion, add the rest of the ingredients. Taste as you go. If you like the taste of one ingredient, add more of it! It's all what you like!
