This is a great way to use any left over spaghetti. I've made many variations. This one is a little on the sweet side because you add honey and the pickled ginger. You could also add broccoli or thinly sliced carrots. I just let my imagination run wild and use whatever I have on hand and whatever I think will taste good together! It's quick, easy and tastes good!
Ingredients
-
·left over cooked whole wheat spaghetti
-
·three hot dogs sliced
-
1 Tbspsesame oil
-
1/4 cpickled ginger (thin slices pink in appearance and ususally found with the asian food in the supermarket. make sure it is the sweet, pickled kind)
-
1 tspcracked black pepper
-
1medium onion sliced
-
1 tspsesame seeds
-
2 tspsoy sauce
-
1 Tbsppeanut butter, creamy
-
2 Tbspbutter (i used i can't believe its not butter)

1 tsphoney (i used orange honey)
How to Make Oriental Hot Dog Stir Fry
- Brown sliced hot dogs in heated sesame oil until brown.
- Melt butter over medium heat, saute onions until transluscent (about 10 minutes)
- Add spaghetti to cooked onion, add the rest of the ingredients. Taste as you go. If you like the taste of one ingredient, add more of it! It's all what you like!
