We enjoyed this dish so much at the military bases when we were stationed in Hawaii and after retiring there. When I found this recipe I was thrilled.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons wine or water
- 1/2 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
- 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoons ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 dash black pepper
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- dash - black pepper
- 2 tablespoons sesame seed oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 pound sirloin steak or other steak, cut in very thin slices (cutting while slightly frozen is easier)
How To Make mongolian barbeque

Step 1Add any of the following ingredients, increasing seasoning and oil to taste: sliced onions, sliced green or red pepper, sliced water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, sliced mushrooms, shredded carrots, chucks of pineapple.

Step 2Grill on a very hot griddle, frying pan or wok until done as desired.

Step 3Serve over cooked rice.
