Ingredients
- 1/2 cup carrots, thin sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar snaps, sliced into bite sized pieces
- 5 - green onions, sliced
- 8 ounces mushrooms, quartered
- 8 ounces mung beans sprouts
- - vegetable oil
- - you can add other veggies: bite sized pieces of bell pepper, zucchini, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts
- 2 packages lo mein noodles or 1 box (16 oz) spaghetti, cooked according to package directions, drained and rinsed in cold water. set aside
- SAUCE
- 3 - 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons tamari
- 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger, optional
How To Make lo mein

Step 1Combine tamari, sugar and ginger and set aside.

Step 2Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse and set aside until veggies are done.

Step 3Stir fry vegetables in oil until tender crisp. Add half of the sauce, mixing well. Remove from wok to a large bowl and set aside.

Step 4Add a little more oil to the wok. Add drained noodles; mix to coat with oil and separate. Heat through, then add rest of sauce. Mix well.

Step 5Add veggies. Toss to mix. Serve.
