Ingredients

  • 6 cups cold cooked rice
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup cold cooked meat of your choice (optional)
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha chili sauce

How To Make fried rice

  • Step 1
    Place oil in skillet and heat to just under the smoking point. Add onions and stir fry until translucent.
  • Step 2
    Add eggs and scramble in pan, breaking them into small pieces.
  • Step 3
    Add meat and vegetables, stirfrying about 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Add cold rice and separate grains by gently mashing any clumps with the flat side of a wooden or plastic utensil so you do not cut the grains up.
  • Step 5
    Add the soy sauce, garlic powder, and chili sauce, stirring into the mixture and continuing to stir fry for another 5 minutes.
