Ingredients

  • 6 c
    cold cooked rice
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/8 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 c
    cold cooked meat of your choice (optional)
  • 1 c
    onions, diced
  • 1 c
    mixed vegetables, fresh or frozen
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/8 c
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    sriracha chili sauce

How to Make Fried Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Place oil in skillet and heat to just under the smoking point. Add onions and stir fry until translucent.
  2. Add eggs and scramble in pan, breaking them into small pieces.
  3. Add meat and vegetables, stirfrying about 10 minutes.
  4. Add cold rice and separate grains by gently mashing any clumps with the flat side of a wooden or plastic utensil so you do not cut the grains up.
  5. Add the soy sauce, garlic powder, and chili sauce, stirring into the mixture and continuing to stir fry for another 5 minutes.
