This is a very easy and quick dish to serve with asian or oriental meals. I like it along side fried rice and sweet and sour pork or chicken.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 cups celery, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 8 ounces water chestnuts, drained
- 4 ounces sliced mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons slivered almonds
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
How To Make chinese celery

Step 1In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Step 2Add everything except water and cornstarch.

Step 3Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4In a small bowl, combine the water and cornstarch and stir until smooth. Add to skillet of vegetables and cook another 5 minutes or until celery is crisp-tender and sauce has thickened.
