My husband doesn't like spricy food but this made him smile! Butter and cheese flavored creamy and mild curry.

Ingredients

  • 2 - skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 - medium onions
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make butter chicken cheese curry

  • Step 1
    Cut each chicken breast into bite size. Halve each onion and slice thinly.
  • Step 2
    In a skillet, melt butter and cook onion and chicken over medium heat until tender and browned.
  • Step 3
    Transfer to a slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, parmesan cheese, almond milk, curry powder, salt and pepper to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-7 hours.
  • Step 4
    Serve with cooked rice.
