Ingredients

1 1/2 tsp
peanut oil
1 slice
ginger root, 1/2" thick
1 lb
beef in thin strips
4 oz
bamboo shoots, sliced
3 oz
snow peas
1/2 c
chicken broth
2 Tbsp
oyster sauce
1/2 tsp
soy sauce
1/4 tsp
sesame oil
1/4 tsp
sugar
1/2 tsp
cornstarch mixed with 1/2 teaspoon water

How to Make Beef Kwangton

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat wok or frying pan and add peanut oil. Add ginger and stir to add flavor to oil. Discard ginger.
  • 2Add beef and stir fry 2 minutes. Add bamboo shoots, mushrooms, snow peas and broth. Cover and cook 2 minutes.
  • 3Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar. Thicken with cornstarch mixture.
  • 4Serve immediately over rice.
