My mothers recipe, this has always been a treat when she made it, I personally think its better than take out and worth the process it involves with making it

Ingredients
- 1 - medium onion, quartered
- 1 - medium bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 - medium carrot, jeulienned
- 2 packages cauliflower and broccoli
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 can bamboo shoots
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 1 package fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 - 12oz can of beer(light beer works best)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- - enough water to bring mixture to 2 cups
- 4-5 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 pound stew beef cut smaller
How To Make beef and vegetable stir fry

Step 1Pour oil into a wok or a large skillet. Heat until temp is around 375, add onion and pepper and stir constantly until slightly crunchy, then add the cauliflower mix and carrot and cook 5-6 minutes. Remove veges, add meat to pan and cook through. Add the canned veges and cook with meat for about a minute. Add first vege mixture back into pan with the mushrooms and cook for another minute or two.

Step 2While the vege mixture is cooking make your sauce: mix all ingredients, beer, soy sauce, ginger, garlic powder, sugar, water, cornstarch.

Step 3Add the sauce to the vege mixture and simmer til the veges are the consistency you wish
