  • 1 lb
    shrimp, (small, 51 to 60 per pound) shelled and de-veined
  • 1/2 c
  • 1/4 c
    thai sweet chili sauce
  • 3 to 5 dash(es)
    hot chili sauce, a few drops or to taste (sriracha)
  • 3/4 c
    cornstarch, to coat the shrimp

How to Make Bang Bang Shrimp


  1. Mix mayo and sauces in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  2. Dredge shrimp in cornstarch.
  3. Deep fat fry the shrimp until lightly brown.
  4. Drain on paper towel, put shrimp in a bowl and gently toss with the sauce.
  5. Serve in a lettuce - lined bowl or cup. Top with chopped scallions.
