This is a recipe very close to Bonefish Grill's recipe for this tasty dish of seafood goodness with a kick.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, (small, 51 to 60 per pound) shelled and de-veined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup thai sweet chili sauce
  • 3 to 5 dashes hot chili sauce, a few drops or to taste (sriracha)
  • 3/4 cup cornstarch, to coat the shrimp

How To Make bang bang shrimp

  • Step 1
    Mix mayo and sauces in a medium bowl. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Dredge shrimp in cornstarch.
  • Step 3
    Deep fat fry the shrimp until lightly brown.
  • Step 4
    Drain on paper towel, put shrimp in a bowl and gently toss with the sauce.
  • Step 5
    Serve in a lettuce - lined bowl or cup. Top with chopped scallions.
