2 cups elbow macaroni (500 mL)
2 tablespoons butter (30 mL)
2 tablespoons flour (30 mL)
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper (2.5 mL)
2 cups 1% milk (500 mL)
2 1/2 cups shredded lower-fat sharp or old cheddar cheese (625 mL)
