INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
2 Tablespoons almond or coconut milk (for dairy free) or cow's milk
2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
2 cups almond flour (also called almond meal)
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons xanthan gum
1/2 teaspoon salt
7 Tablespoons ghee (for dairy free), melted and cooled; may also use unsalted butter (for dairy)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup xylitol or erythritol (for low carb) or coconut sugar (for carby)
1 cup sugar-free chocolate chips (for low carb), or carob or dark chocolate chips (for more carbs)
