Plus for homemade sauce or if using shop bought apple sauce:

Zest of 1 lemon
•
1 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp ground ginger

small handful of plain flour

500g (1 lb 2oz) puff pastry (shop bought or to make your own

•
softly whipped cream, ice cream or crème anglaise
