Lentil Taco Meat

INGREDIENTS
1 cup brown lentils (172g)
4 cups vegetable broth, reserve 1 1/2 cups for later (950 ml)
1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
1 cup yellow onion, chopped (114g)
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon ancho chili powder
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice, from about 4 limes
