Lemon Velvet Cake - Cooking With Carlee

INGREDIENTS
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk (or 1 cup milk soured with 1 tsp lemon juice)
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
optional: yellow food coloring (I didn't use any but you could for a more vibrant yellow color)
