INGREDIENTS
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, 3 ounces
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk, 4 ounces
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour, 6 ounces
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (decrease to 1/4 teaspoon if using salted butter)
2 tablespoons finely grated lemon zest, packed, from 3 lemons
Topping
1/2 cup lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
