Lemon Magic Custard Cake

INGREDIENTS
4 large eggs separated (at room temperature)
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted and slightly cooled (See note 1)
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup all purpose (same as plain flour -UK OR cake flour)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 3/4 cup lukewarm whole (full fat) milk
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
