INGREDIENTS
For the Loaf
1 Stick Unsalted Butter (Equal to half a cup)
1 Cup Sugar
2 Large Eggs
1 Lemon, Juiced and Zested
1 1/2 Cup All-purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
Pinch Salt
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/4 Cup Cream (half and half works well or whole milk - but cream is better for moister loaf and richer taste)
For the Glaze
1 1/3 Cup Icing Sugar .. same as Powdered/Confectioners sugar (in Canada we call it Icing sugar because it's most often used to ice or frost a cake)
1/2 Lemon, Juiced and Zested
1/2 tsp Vanilla
