Lemon Cream 'Pology Cake & Lemon Buttercream Frosting
INGREDIENTS

½ cup shortening
•
1 cup white sugar
•
3 eggs
•
1 tsp. lemon juice
•
2 tsp. grated lemon peel
•
2 cups cake flour
•
3 ½ tsp. baking powder
•
1 tsp. salt
•
1 cup sour cream
•

•
Frosting:
•
½ cup butter, softened
•
4 cups confectioners sugar
•
4 – 5 Tbl. lemon juice
•
Cream butter and sugar. Add juice 1T at a time until desired consistency.
