1/2 cup lard

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 tsp. salt

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup warm water

Ingredients for the lemon curd (make this while the dough is rising):
•
1/2 cup sugar
•
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
•
1/8 tsp. salt
•
zest of 1 lemon
•
3 egg yolks, beaten
•
juice of 1 lemon and enough water to make 6 Tbsp.
•
1/4 cup butter, melted
