INGREDIENTS
1 medium onion, peeled and finely diced.
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 carrot, peeled and finely chopped
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
8 ounces extra lean ground beef, 90/10 blend
8 ounces Italian sausage, casings removed
1 teaspoon dried ground oregano
2 teaspoons fresh basil, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped.
1 teaspoon Also Salt (salt substitute)
1 teaspoon Truvia (sugar substitute)
1 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes, no salt added
1 8oz can tomato sauce, no salt added
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
1 pound lasagna noodles
1 pound reduced fat cottage cheese
1 egg
8 ounces reduced fat, low burn mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons reduced fat Parmesan cheese
