3 (1/4 oz ) packages active dry yeast

1-1/2 cups whole milk, warmed to 110 F

1/2 cup plus one large pinch granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
•
1 tsp salt
•
4 large egg yolks

1 tbsp pure vanilla extract

4-1/2 - 5 cups all purpose flour

For the Coconut Glaze
•
3 cups confectioner's sugar
•
1/4 tsp salt
•
2 tsp coconut extract
•
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

6 tbsp coconut milk
•
Canola oil for frying
