INGREDIENTS
8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup clam juice
1 pound jumbo lump crabmeat (I get mine at Costco)
1 cup frozen peas
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed (Pepperige Farm)
1 egg, beaten with 1 teaspoon water, to brush pastry
